Super Earth went into March with a bruised cheek from the Automatons but held their head high with their victories over the Terminid ‘threat’ (1). As the citizens all around the Super Earth domain celebrated their Helldivers, SEAF and designated democratic officer, the government put together the operation ‘Liberation of Veld‘.
In response to the surprise discovery of a subterrain Terminid nest, Super Earth set the standard as simple as possible to avoid any potential misinterpretation of the operation, as well as putting themselves in a position of free decision making whether or not the operation was a success.
The main agenda, as we have deduced from their brief briefing material, was to stop the Terminids spreading to further planets. We assume that this goal was set because the TCS system per planet costs almost as much as an entire fleet of Super Destroyers. It is important to note that the gas itself remains untested and uncertain in efficiency (2).
Update: The Helldivers operation by Super Earth standards was crowned a success. SEAF Containment Teams moved on to clean up as well as launch inoculation operations henceforth on Veld. I would like to highlight that after taking control of Veld, Super Earth stated that ‘Colonists have been advised that there is absolutely zero threat of further Terminid violence.’
We highlight this quote as Super Earth fails to expand upon the repercussions of the TCS and whether or not one of these extermination networks has been deployed in ‘protection’ of the citizens (3).
Update 2: To celebrate the Helldivers success, various pilots who had spent spreading Napalm all over the planet surface to clear out the spores have been re-assigned to Super Destroyers to support Helldiver deployments.
The Liberation of Tien Kwan was followed by a huge propaganda campaign on March 5th 2184 by Super Earth, having teased across all channels their latest development of EXO-45 Patriot Mechs (4). It seems Automatons might have received the news too and decided to assault Tien Kwan with a major attack force.
We are still investigating why Tien Kwan is the sole arsenal of Exosuit technology, which is clearly an obvious weakness in Super Earths (lack of) supply chain planning. But we did in fact confirm that this piece of propaganda was correct – Tien Kwan is the only place in humanity’s domain to host Exosuits.
Unlike previous war efforts against the Automatons, the Helldivers seemed to have been inspired by the prospect of gaining access to these walking heavy, and fragile, weapon support platforms. We measured deployment counts en masse as only seen on Terminid fronts previously.
The goal set by Super Earth could not be more straightforward: Stop the Automatons and liberate Tien Kwan before it is too late.
Now what ‘too late’ means was uncertain, we assessed this parameter to involve the local scientist and R&D Engineers who have designed, developed, and manufactured the Exosuits. Chances are that the blueprints are only locally stored in SSSDs to prevent Automaton remote hacks & theft of Super Earth technology, as was rumored to be part of the Automaton’s successful incursion into the Xzar Sector.
Update 1: We have since learned that in fact the Helldivers were deployed to stop Automatons from destroying the production facilities of the EXO-45 Patriot suits.
Update 2: In particular our sources reported that at least ‘The Morgunson Arsenal’ on Tien Kwan had in fact stored the majority of freshly produced Exosuits and were in fact intact (5). It is unknown how many more arsenals and/or production facilities remained intact after the Helldivers left Tien Kwan.
Update 3: Tien Kwan has repelled the Automatons and Super Earth rewarded every Helldiver with enough experience to pilot an Exosuit to deploy them (6). Due to limited production quantities and resource cost, each Helldiver is only allowed to deploy two per deployment. Furthermore, one of our Super Destroyer Mechanic sources confirmed that prepping an Exosuit for deployment via Pelican can take between six to seven minutes on average.
Several weeks after the TCS started construction on the Terminid front, and after successfully repelling the Terminids attempts of overwhelming Veld, the SEAF finally managed to prep the TCS for turning on as per ‘Activation of the Terminid Control System‘ major order announcement in the Helldivers network. However, as per typical Super Earth architect fashion, it appears they forgot to include a remote ‘On’ button.
Instead, Super Earth opted in for the easiest, albeit not best, solution possible – deploy Helldivers to turn the TCS on. Hundreds of tower installations spanning almost a kilometer in diameter (excluding all the piping for the gases) (7).
It is important to note that various reports (3) have shown that per recovered MSDS sheets may not be safe for humans as Super Earth claims (8). Naturally we support and encourage these kinds of information campaigns and are ever grateful that these courageous Super Earth citizens shared them publicly.
Furthermore, we would like to add that Helldiver deployment has become necessary due to SEAF engineers having been ‘forced’ to evacuate. Our sources believe it is more likely due to the fact that indeed a remote switch has been forgotten to be installed as well as that the gases are damaging to humans as well, not just Terminids. So why not spend the lives of some Helldivers instead of Engineers?
Note: Engineering Universities plus on-the-job training can easily result in 4-8 years of effort to train new engineers while a Helldiver can be as quickly put through basic training and get to their first deployment within hours. This makes the former a much more valued commodity.
That being said, Super Earth dictated as victory condition for the Helldivers that “The Terminid Control System must be activated – at any cost”. Which clearly indicates not only the desparation and fear against the Terminids by our beloved government, but also that they expect Helldiver casualties (9, numbers as of Mar 16th 2184) to be much higher both short and long term from this deployment without regard for long-term ecological consequences.
Update: The Helldivers once again succeeded against the Terminids, continuing their ‘Major Order’ success streak. Erata Prime, Fenrir III, Meridia and Turing are all operating the Terminid Extermination gases at 100% efficiency. We will continue to investigate and observe if Super Earth’s claims of its citizens and children going to be ‘forever safe from being eaten alive’ by the Terminids. We doubt that the countless slaughtering of Terminids will bring the long lasting peace that Super Earth promises its people, and we will continue our news coverage as appropriate.
Operation Prime Liberation had started March 19th, 2184. Helldivers were given 72 hours to liberate two key worlds and whatever other worlds that were required to establish the relevant Supply Chain. These planets in question were Fori Prime and Zagon Prime. Various veteran Helldivers took to their Super Destroyer network to coordinate their efforts in liberation efforts to maximize their success rates. (10)
Update: While Fori Prime was liberated, Zagon Prime remained under Terminid control. The operation has failed which resulted, according to Super Earth, to lower E-710 production, Citizens expansion plans reduced as well as that for the time being no C-01 permits will be signed anytime soon. These updates were provided by Helldiver ‘Kastrand’, straight from Super Earth High Command. (11)
Shortly after the punishment were dealt by Super Earth for failing ‘Operation Prime Liberation’, High Command has moved on, still occupied with the Terminid front. Operation Hell-Draco was launched on March 22nd, 2184 (12). Super Earth defined the success criteria as ‘Designated planets must be under Super Earth control when order expires. Fori Prime, Estanu, Crimsica, Hellmire.’
The reason for this operation is that Civilian Biomass Collection Teams (BCTs) are gathering and processing inert Terminids on liberated bug planets. While they do their non-combat duties to Super Earth, the Helldivers must ensure their safety by not only liberating these worlds, but also maintaining their managed democratic grip on them.
Our researchers remain vigilant to understand what happens with the collected Biomass. Our first guesses are that they will be turned into E-710. We will continue to observe the operation and the purpose of its cause.
Operation Hell-Draco’s success has prompted Super Earth to declare that the Terminid danger is no more. However, we continue to see Terminid-front deployment activity and reports. Both Hellmire and Oshaune had seen recent Helldiver activity including but not limited up to March 28th due to Terminid presence (13). Strohmann news clearly is avoiding any news around this development to maintain focus on the Automaton front through Operation Swift Disassembly (Phase 1) due to Automaton cryptic intercepted message around ‘Reclamation’. (14)
This operation will see Helldivers liberate the planets in path to stop the Automatons at Troost. It is important to note from our independent journalist view and opinion, that we would love Automaton input on this situation and more information about the ‘Reclamation’ efforts of theirs. We at SuperEarth.Life would not be surprised if this is a renewed effort to make for Cyberstan where a lot of Cyborgs from the previous last civil war ended up working for the rest of their lives to retrieve resources for Super Earths never-ceasing growing demands in manufacturing and econmic greed.
As of March 28th 2184 (2024), Super Earth has made the LAS-99 Quasar Cannon and MG-101 Heavy Machine Gun available to all Helldivers. (15). These weapons are unknown in origin world and technology, but without a doubt went far more flawless into R&D and mass production than the troubled Tien Kwan Exosuits. No special Helldiver operations were required to secure any manufacturing facilities or personnel, this time. Their effectiveness on the battlefield is yet to be determined as we hope to retrieve reports from deployed Helldivers within the next days.
